The IDB Division of Education of the Social Sector Department, and the Cultural Center of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), announce that Alejandro Valencia Tobón is one of the five artists whose artworks have been chosen for the exhibition, “An Equal Start: Natural Sciences and Mathematics Education in Latin America and the Caribbean,” to be held in Washington, D.C. on June 7–11, 2010. Alejandro’s work pretends to generate learning-related aesthetic experiences based on audiovisual tools and the study of tropical diseases.
